SP PASS: The App That Makes Bus Travel in São Paulo Easier and More Convenient
SP PASS is an Android app developed by UPM2 that allows users to pay for their bus fare experimentally through QR codes. The app is fast, easy, and secure, requiring only a few clicks to complete a transaction. Users can also check if their bus line is participating in the experimental payment project.
Apart from paying for bus fare, SP PASS also includes other useful features. Users can recharge their Bilhete Único (a rechargeable transportation card) without any additional fees using their debit card or Pix. Additionally, the app can locate Bike Itaú stations and search for bus tickets on Click Bus.
The app also provides information on all possible routes, including the cost per mode of transportation, bus and subway lines, and estimated travel time. Users can check the arrival time of their bus and find out if it is accessible and has Wi-Fi.
